2007 Plein Air

In 2007 at the end of June, sculptors gathered into sculpture making in nature, however, this time it was an international project. A Finn Antti Pedrozo, an Englishman Darren Jackson, an Italian Maurizio Peron, a Latvian Karlis Ile and a woman from St. Petersburg Natalija Chystiakova, the organizer Andrius Petkus participated in this project.

Modern sculptures were sculptured two weeks. This year sculptors tried to create form unconventional for sculptures material – concrete. In sculptors’ hands this cold looking material gain another meaning, revived and harmoniously melt into nature.
