2006 Plein Air

To the plener of 2006, came the famous Lithuanian sculptures from Vilnius - Petras Mazūras, Rolandas Šmitas, and also Evaldas Adomkus and Rimantas Jarošius from Telšiai, and Andrius Petkus from Palanga; from Latvia - Zigmundas Bielis, Karlis Yla.

The sculptures unify not only the materials, but also the idea that all the sculptures must have the connection with the nature. And each of them had a patent way of solving this task: P. Mazūras made the pine to join in a ‘Windstorm lure’ dance (‘Vėtros pagundos’ šokis), the stone of Zigmundas Bielis uttered, Karlis Yla in a boulder found the ‘Pearl’ (‘Žemčiūgas’).
